January 21, 2019, PLUS ONE proudly partnered with Ryan Coogler and Blackout for Human Rights for the 4th annual MLK NOW. The celebration honored the legacy of Dr. King while exploring how his message and vision still resonates in today’s racial, social and political landscape.
MLK NOW featured dynamic and captivating programming including historic speeches and literature performed by artists and actors like Common, John David Washington and Dayo Okeniyi with musical performances by K-Ci, VaShawn Mitchell and V. Bozeman.
As a collective we must commit our energy and resources toward immediately addressing the staggering level of human rights violations and injustices throughout the United States.
